Another ‘award winning’ stay in La
Choutte, our fourth so far and we hope this will not be the last. It would take
numerous visits to cover all the interesting places in the area not least
because it’s difficult to tear yourself away from the pool. The wonderful
weather with meals taken outside have been in the true French tradition.

Two weeks of virtually wall to wall good weather in a
fabulous setting. The gites are really well laid out, clean and finished to a
really high standard and the pool was lovely to come back to after the day’s
activities; very peaceful and quiet. There was plenty to do for our youngsters
with the pool, the lake at Montaigue de Quercy and canoeing on the Dordogne. For
us slightly older ones there were some really pretty little towns to visit
especially Penne d’Agenais and St Cirq la Popie. Thanks so much we will be back!

This is the most delightful rural retreat and one
of the best gites we have stayed in during our travels in France. There are so
many interesting places to visit and the owners are very welcoming and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the gite which offered
us all the comfort we could possibly need. The weather has been glorious and the
peace and tranquillity very therapeutic. We have felt so relaxed but when we did
manage to do some sightseeing we particularly enjoyed the Bastide towns of
Monpazier, Monflanquin and Beaumont and the drive through the gorge de Gavaudun
to the chateau at Biron is well worth doing. It is a pleasure to explore the
leafy lanes and pretty villages. Thank you for a most enjoyable holiday.

The gite was so spacious with every home from home
comfort and by the way the photographs do not do it enough justice. We basically
spent the week chilling out. There is LOTs! to explore in the nearby region and
we only did a little which makes a great excuse to come and stay again.

Fantastic two weeks relaxing in the sun. Lovely
gite, lovely countryside and lovely wine! Great place to spend two weeks; lots
to see and do or just relax by the pool. This place was recommended by friends
and we will recommend to others. Take the bikes for a ride around the many local
lanes and if you get the chance to visit the evening market at Sauveterre, but
don’t eat before you go! We hope to be back soon
